🟥 𝐓𝐟𝐋 𝐓𝐎𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐈𝐆𝐍𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐀𝐗𝐈 𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒, 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐂𝐔𝐑𝐁 𝐒𝐘𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐌 𝐅𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐔𝐑𝐄.

 It’s disgraceful, that our regulator #TfLTPH, won’t answer the simple question 

“𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤, 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐂𝐂 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫 ?”

Should we now ignore all #TfLTPH regulations ?

Three representative orgs and two unions (1 with allegedly 10,000 members)….yet they too were unable to find out any info from TfL on the Curb system failure. This left drivers not knowing if they could legally work over a bank holiday week end

Is it now time to change the mandate or scrap it completely and allow drivers to use a hand held device of their own choice, for situations as and when their main CC system goes down.

𝐓𝐀𝐗𝐈 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐒 𝐄𝐗𝐓𝐑𝐀 𝐁𝐈𝐓:

Taxi drivers are ‘sole traders’ and should be able to choose how they accept payment of a fare. 

It should not be up to #TfLTPH

Should the Taxi trade representatives orgs and unions now be looking to take #TfLTPH to court for failing to make a statement, leaving drivers in limbo….and therefore claiming compensation from #TfLTPH for drivers who didn’t work ?
