Bob Crow once said, “If you fight, you may not always win, but if you don’t fight, you will certainly lose".

Well New Taxi Leaks fought, and we won πŸ†

If you have been following the story about the slur on the trade from certain social media platform sites, you will be aware that even though we got the Met Police, who falsely said "Five hand guns and ammunition found in the boot of a Taxi", to removed the post from their website, unfortunately a number of so called current affair media groups, refused to remove as they said they got their info direct from the Met Police.

We've tried to contact by email the author of the misleading articles, Nathalie Raffray of the Ham and High, (who posted the misinformation on local news sights she is connected with, yet funny enough, did not post on her own Twitter account)….but so far we’ve had no answer to our queries.

π“π€π—πˆ π‹π„π€πŠπ’ 𝐄𝐗𝐓𝐑𝐀 ππˆπ“ : π•πˆπ‚π“πŽπ‘π˜

Harrow Online and This is Local London, had published the offending post on their Facebook and Twitter accounts. But, after we posted complaints plus evidence on their platforms, we can report today that the offending article has now been removed from all their social media platforms.

Unfortunately, PHTM’s Facebook page have repeated the lie that the PH car was a Taxi. They appear to be ignoring the comments we’ve made on their page. Plus Brent and Kilburn Times still have the post and haven’t reply to our request.

This is the message we sent them:

The Met Police, HarrowOnline and This Is Local London, have all had the good sense to remove this post which contains false information.

Could you either remove, or at least take the word Taxi out, as the weapons were not found in a Taxi, they were found in a Private hire vehicle.

Amazingly, the original author of the story Nathalie Raffray, is a senior reporter at the Ham & High, but they too have today decided to remove the story that contains false info 🀷🏼

Next port of call with Brent and Kilburn Times, is the press complaints commission.

New Taxi Leaks will never give up fighting the slurs against the good name of the trade, regularly voted the best Taxi service in the world.

PHTM Facebook page have now changed the post to read:

⬛️ MAN ARRESTED AND CHARGED AFTER GUNS FOUND IN THE BACK OF A PHV IN WEMBLEY
