The statement below appeared on the London Live FaceBook page today….

“There are more cyclists than motorists in the City of London during peak times, a new report reveals.

“The City of London Corporation’s Planning and Transportation Committee found cyclists are the “single largest vehicular mode counted during peak times on City streets”.

Well of course they outnumber motor vehicles. 

Motor vehicles including Taxis are banned from most of the City of London in peak hours. Some streets even banned vehicles 24 hours. 

Plus Buses that are allowed with the Cyclists are mainly stuck in the congestion surrounding the City.

But to add insult to injury, they then posted the image below, if cyclists in Parliament Square which is not part of the CoL. 

Well done to the City of London Corporation Planning and Transportation Committee, Sadiq Khan and Will Norman will be beside themselves reading this propaganda.
