Again, you really couldn’t make it up. While the London Tube system in one of the most toxic, polluted places to be, TfL are trying to give the impression that they are greening up the underground by installing (I kid you not) grass roofing at station entrances.

Khans Cycling Czar Will Norman, announced on his Twitter page, that it was brilliant to see “the green green grass of home” roof being fitted to the new station entrance at Old Street - boosting ‘bio-diversity’ as part of TfL’s station upgrade.

𝐓𝐀𝐗𝐈 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐒 𝐄𝐗𝐓𝐑𝐀 𝐁𝐈𝐓:
Where on earth do TfL get their ideas from, is it the land of make believe?

Still as Will would admit, it’s not his money being wasted, it’s yours and mine.
How long do they think this grass will last with all the toxic air from the tube leaving the station, and only meters from one of the tubes top secret ventilation shafts.

Is  this the Marble Arch Mound white elephant 2 ?
Said to be the real reason the Tories lost control of the council.

It costs £300,000 to build a new Council flat….For the £6 million it cost to build the Marble Arch Mound, Westminster Council could have built 20 new Council homes for families in housing need at rents they can afford.
