Withdrawal of PayPal Here payment option and approved card payment devices:
PayPal has confirmed that it will discontinue its ‘PayPal Here’ service in the UK from 3 April 2023. From this date it will not be possible to accept ‘PayPal Here’ on card payment devices. As a result of the removal of PayPal support, TfL will remove the approval for PayPal card payment devices on 2 April 2023.
PayPal has confirmed that if you purchased a PayPal Here card reader on or after 1 January 2022, you will receive a refund of the purchase price by the end of March 2023.

Amazingly, there are no restrictions on Private Hire Drivers who can accept payment through what ever system suits them the best.
Been informed today that more Taxi drivers are having their bills revoked for totting up points than are actually passing out from the knowledge.
The Trade stands by waiting and seeing while it’s all crumbling down around them.
