Uber Offers Financial Deal To Get All EU Taxis To Join It’s App

The ride-sharing giant is trying to end years of long battles by offering EU cabbies aggressive financial incentives.

It’s an old American saying, but still very true today, especially in this instance : If you can’t beat em, buy then off.

And it looks like the first to surrender, are the cabbies of Paris where it’s reported, 500 of their licensed Taxi drivers have signed onto the app.
Who could forget these same Taxi drivers in Paris back in 2015 protested the presence of Uber in their city, burning tyres, blocking roads, and attacking drivers they suspected of working for the company.

Today, just seven years later, instead of fighting against the app, 500 taxi drivers in the French capital are logging on to earn extra money, according to Uber.

See the article in Wired.

𝐓𝐀𝐗𝐈 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐒 𝐄𝐗𝐓𝐑𝐀 𝐁𝐈𝐓:
Is it just a matter of time before we see this happening in London.

Will the trade stand firm and fight against this happening here?

Or will it just capitulate saying, oh well it’s very busy on there?
