🟦 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐮𝐭 𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. Many drivers are saying on social media, they have had to put this type of advisory signage inside their vehicles, to advise passengers about the recent change to speed limits.

How long before TfL PCOs start issuing stop notices on Taxis displaying these notices to passengers complaining “can you go faster driver, I’m in a hurry?”.

Also, how long before TfL start advertising “it’s quicker by tube”.

Should our orgs and unions be making representation to TfL on drivers behalf, to get signage approved?

This also applies the the For Hire, Occupied signage many TXe drivers are adopting!

When they say it’s all about a safer, greener city…it’s not, it’s all about the money. Always has been.

𝐌𝐄𝐀𝐍𝐖𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐄, 𝐈𝐍 𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒:

TfL have posted this notice on their Twitter account:⬇️

PHV drivers are reminded that they should not stop or wait on taxi ranks under any circumstances. PHV drivers caught using taxi ranks will face licensing action.

PHV drivers in taxi ranks can be reported to our enforcement team by email: tphintel@tfl.gov.uk

The LTDA ain’t going to do nothing to upset TfL and spoil their special relationship.
