🟥 On Friday 27, Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 May, roads across Essex and London will be affected by a weekend of RideLondon cycling events. There will be road closures across east and central London as well as some parts of Essex from 04:00 until 20:00 on Sunday 29 May.
Please avoid driving in the affected areas unless absolutely necessary. If you do need to drive, please allow more time for your journey. Some bus routes will be on diversion and stop short of their normal destination due to road closures over the weekend. Many central London bus routes will not serve their usual stops.
Use Tube and rail to get around London more quickly, and consider walking for shorter journeys.
For full details, including event information and roads closures please visit the RideLondon website and to know your travel options over the event weekend, visit our travel advice page.

It is amazing that they see this as beneficial…but Licensed Taxis crossing Bank Junction, conveying the public on necessary journeys are not.
Also, passenger at Paddington said he had to get the Heathrow Express as the queue for cabs at the port was so long.
What a scandalous state of affairs…we have Drivers who have been waiting years to get a TAG, and passengers having to use alternative transport because HAL can’t supply enough Taxis
