The Bias Broadcasting Company (the BBC) have been at it again, with a blatant attack on London’s Black Cab Trade.
In an advertorial put out on the six o clock London News, they showed a cancer patient being carried in a shopping basket affixed to a cycle.
They interviewed the passenger who said clear as day, that she thought the cycle was better than a ‘Bus’ or an ‘Uber’. She didn’t even mention the word safer!
But the BBC decided to put words in this lady’s mouth and went with the headline
A RIDE THAT FEELS SAFER THAN A BUS OR A TAXI.
This isn’t the first time BBC news programs have referred to private hire vehicles as Taxis. Every time this has happened, they’ve received thousands of viewer complaints. But they still insist in calling minicabs Taxis
It is in fact illegal under the Private hire vehicles at 1998 for any private hire driver or operator to call themselves a Taxi or a Cab , in any form of advert or written article.
The complaints have started to flood in, plus it appears the BBC had altered the original on line title “A RIDE THAT FEELS SAFER THAN A BUS OR A CAB” by changing the word Cab to Taxi after the piece went to air.

It’s also noticeable that the statement from the lady passenger “SAFER THAN A BUS OR AN UBER”, has now been removed from the BBC online video.
Have Uber been complaining to the Beeb???
Again we would like to point this out to the extremely biased news editors at the BBC who continue to ignore the act of 1998 ๐๐ผ
Don’t stop complaining, keep the pressure up!!!

If you saw this program and would like to register your complaint, use this link above... it only takes a minute or two.
A quick message to the BBC and all their so called journalists
And we can add Cargo bikes to that list too.We have since received this apology from the BBC who say they have now changed the article to remove any mention of the word Taxi.
TAXI LEAKS EXTRA BIT:
Who’s policing the police ?
Just over a week ago, we saw Sadiq Khan’s deputy Mayor for Transport Heidi Alexander, along with a companion, bragging on Twitter that she had ridden all over central London, completing the Monopoly Board challenge.
While the rest of London was told only to exercise locally and make no unessential journeys, not one word in the media, from the GLA or the Mayor against what the deputy mayor and her partner had done....
Yet the lockdown police fined these two young ladies for driving 5 miles to a park to exercise. Funny, the BBC went with the story about these two young ladies, but said not one word about Khan's Deputy Mayor ???
This video appeared on Twitter, showing four police officers breaking tier 4 regulations by sitting down and drinking coffee in a restaurant. Completely against lockdown regulations
Again, one rule for them and a different rule for us
Is it any wonder why so many of the public are ignoring the rules.
