TFL have asked for a Judicial Review of the Red Route bay decisions where numerous parking adjudicators decided that it was illegal to issue penalty charge notices in red route bays using CCTV cameras.

The Judicial Review hearing will now be heard at the Royal Courts of Justice, Strand, London WC2A 2LL, UK on 26th October 2023 at 11:00.

The law clearly states that TfL cannot issue fines for red route parking bays by CCTV. 

However, after their history of previous appeals, it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if they were to win this one. 

Something smells very fishy here.
