But there’s more.
The Telegraph has reported that many other votes against the scheme have been improperly removed or excluded.
The majority of Londoners see ULEZ as a tax on the poor and nothing to do with climate change.
But unfortunately Sadiq Khan and TfL have a habit of taking no notice of consultations and publishing made up statistics and guesstimates.
Speaking on Twitter this evening, GLA member Susan Hall said:
“We have been hearing rumours that Sadiq Khan’s ULEZ expansion might be in trouble. Now we know: 66% voted against it in the consultation, and the Telegraph reveals some opposition votes may have been improperly excluded. This must be investigated.”
TAXI LEAKS EXTRA BIT:
The GLA conservatives posted this on their Facebook group this evening:
๐จ BREAKING ๐จ
Leaked data REVEALS 66% voted AGAINST London-wide ULEZ expansion - The Telegraph
AND new evidence consultation may be IMPROPERLY EXCLUDING VOTES against the expansion
