We all know about Camden Councils connection to the cycling lobby, and their push to try to get everyone on bicycles.
They discriminate against the elderly and disabled.
Trapping people in their homes and killing off local businesses.
We’ve seen certain councillors on this Labour council, all edged connections with cycle companies such as Pedal Me.
We’ve also seen employees of the council given alleged preferential treatment, when it comes to parking and entering LTN restrictions.
Just when you thought the Cycling Lobby couldn’t get any worse….they have.

Yesterday, one of the lobbies most prolific purveyor of PR BS, put a post on Twitter, that claimed a massive hike in pollution levels in his vicinity and asked his followers to check their levels by going to a third party site.
Many of his followers were shocked at the high levels of pollution in their area. Even rural villages showed massive levels of pollution…. So we decided to check this website out.
And guess what?
Turns out to be not only fake, but it also gathers information about your home address!
Using a fake home address, we were given a pollution level of 87 out of 100. (They use a scale of 1-100 because it looks more dramatic than the Breeze Meter scale of 1-10).
We then checked our reading on both the iPhone weather app and the Breeze Meter site and they both returned a reading of 2 out of 10 (which compares to 20-100).
As you can see, this is obviously low and quite safe, unlike @citycyclists fake site reading of 87.

Do not be fooled by this type of fake PR being bandied about, by people with links to cycling hire/production companies.

Best advice we can offer, Vote out these Labour councils come May the 5th.
Let’s show them that if they are not going to listen to local tax paying residents, we can and will replace them.
Remember, this is not a general election, this is about choosing councillors who will do their best for local people and not just carry out an agenda from the mayor.
