Strand resurfacing dates are as follow:-

Eastbound closure, 28 March - 30 March 2022 

Westbound closures, 4 April - 6 April 2022

Eastbound Taxis journeys will be lengthy. 

Taxis can enter via the Aldwych/Lancaster Place/Strand

Westbound is likely to be more problematical

4 April 2022

Taxis will travel via the eastbound lane then at the natural break at the central reservation turn on to the westbound before the works area and join the feeder rank outside McDonald’s

Charing Cross Drop Off/Pick Up:

Taxis will can enter via Trafalgar Square/Duncannon Street on the eastbound and then turn towards the forecourt and rank at the bus stop outside Charing cross Station. 

If drivers are sensible they will reverse the way they rank for this to be a feeder rank on to the station forecourt.

23:59, 6 April - 05:00, 7 April 2022, there will be no taxi service at Charing Cross Station.
