It was never about Greener Streets or Air Quality…It was always about the MONEY


As we’ve said all along, the LTNs implementation in the London borough of Islington, was never about greener streets, or cleaner air….it was always about the money they intended to raise from PCNs. 

One of the residents has contacted Islington council, under a freedom of information request, asking the question: “Just how much money has been received so far from PCNs”. 

Below is the reply received from the council.

All Low Traffic Neighbourhood camera issued PCs since installation

Payments received up to 28 February 2022 = £6,519,944.32
