On Sunday 15 September 2019, a group of London Cabbies participated in the 55 mile London to Brighton Cycle Ride.
Most of the cabbies and their associates have not ridden a bike since their teenage years!
They were are aiming to raise £5000 but actually managed to raise £8000.
This money will go towards funding our 2020 Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, a party, for 600 special needs and disadvantaged children.
The children get to have a fun-filled day out that they will never forget!

TAXI LEAKS EXTRA BIT :
It’s been a great weekend for a truly philanthropic London Taxi trade.
We had the 26th annual children’s "Magical Mystery Taxi Tour" where, over 100 Taxis took seriously ill children in their Taxis, across to Paris for a fantastic holiday break.
We saw the Taxi Charity for Military Veterans announce they are going to take a group of veterans over to Holland to celibate the 75th anniversary of Operation Market Garden.
And also the above London to Brighton Cycle Ride which raises money for the LTDCC MadHatters Children’s Tea Party.
Also:
We saw this brilliant tradition.
Every time they meet, supporters of Den Haag, throw soft toys down to Feyenoord fans, for the Sick Children's Hospital in Rotterdam.
It happened again this weekend
Wonderful. πππ

Keep up the good work mate ππ»
