The consultation that never was.... By I'm Spartacus.

We hope that no cab driver missed the opportunity to have their say on the PH consultation. It's still open, but you only have a few hours left!

Can't help but laugh at the non eco friendly boxes of nonsense delivered by Poober to Palestra - A nice PR stunt, but as if to prove they don't know their a**e from their elbow, they went to the wrong building.
LTPH have moved weeks ago.

Anyhow, here are some questions that should have been included- but never were.

1. Would you like to pay an effective tax rate of 8%?

2. Would you like to enjoy Dutch zero rating on VAT?

3. Would you like a complaints procedure that's meaningless?

4. Would you like to be able to increase prices at a whim?

5. Would you like your mate to drive your vehicle and pretend to be you to earn both some money?

6. If the answer to all the above is yes, please explain how the NHS can be funded, the public protected and your children educated?

Responses can be submitted on the back of your Tax Credit Form to:

The Chancellor of the Exchequer
All in It Together Towers
11 Downing Street
London SW1

All answers will be entered in a prize draw to win an all expenses paid trip to the Opera with the Lord Speaker of the House of Lords.

Merry Christmas all!

There's no need for a Mayor and a regulator if the public are to make decisions on public safety.

What does it matter if Uber present the regulator TPH with a 100,000 petitions from all and sundry - It's about public safety, and that's why we have regulative bodies - they are there to ensure public safety. TFL are acting like they are The Electoral Reform Society and have abandoned their role as a regulative body...

This consultation is a SCAM !

Firstly, it's a consultation, TfL are asking for views and ideas. IT IS NOT A VOTE, it doesn't matter a jot if U*** get every driver in every country to support their views, it's only 1 view, 1 idea, 1 side of the argument, if it were a vote, it would be called a vote... It's not a vote. It doesn't matter how many boxes they deliver, all those boxes are full up with one view, one side of the argument, in an election, we vote, in a consultation we offer different views, the different views will be read and taken on merit, not counted like a polling station. That's why it was called the private hire regs review "consultation" not the private hire regs review "Vote"

TX1 fan, in a perfect World you comment is accurate and watertight - we know TFL are corrupt and can't be trusted. The picture in the article, plus numerous Twitter posts suggest that Uber are going for quantity rather than quality... Ask yourself how many times you have heard "It's what the public wants" And remember who said it !

There is no perfect World, just bent politicians, bent licensing authority, bent local government, bent police force and a bent Mayor overseeing the whole shebang!

Merry Christmas.

They couldn't find the right place, hilarious . . . . . why did they have to confirm what we all already know, regarding their route finding capability!!!!! In the words of a well known taxi face: ' you couldn't make it up'! Mind you to be fair I think the gps systems now in existence are only programmed for cars, people, bikes, etc, etc, but don't work on brown cardboard boxes! However, if they'd have been delivering brown envelopes. . . . . . it is possible their gps would have locked on like an Exocet missile & have fully routed without any deviation, whatsoever . . . . . . Allegedly
:-)!

Merry Christmas to everyone and one thing we all have from doing the Knowledge is the greatest determination to pursue any cause to the end. We can do it and ride out the storm, (well Tsunami) if we all support everything done to further our cause. A regular poster on here warned that 'men were coming to kill us'. Although, I think he forgot to mention that they intended to draw, quarter & disembowel us first! Be lucky one and all and don't give up the fight!
